Communication Master - BNI Attraction Chapter

I mentioned in this week's meeting that the firm intention of the new Leadership Team is to make the BNI meeting the most productive 90 minutes of your working week.  I said that we would do that by monitoring, measuring, encouraging and educating everyone in the use of the BNI methods of attracting business.
 
Attached is step one of the monitoring part of that promise, a clear and transparent record of what we all contributed and received this week.  The report shows who was in the meeting, who brought guests and gave and received referrals.  I've attached weightings to each of those factors to produce a score for each of us.  We can debate those relative weightings, but let's go with these for a few weeks at least to see how things go.
 
Before being entered in to this report the referrals were checked carefully to make sure they fitted the criteria for a proper, fully qualified referral.  We've been very strict about this, and actually discounted 10 of the 31 submitted referral slips.  Liz will go through each individually with the submitting member next week, but they were mainly because of the following reasons :

• No contact information given
• Self referral given before the transaction has been fully completed
• Referral not yet qualified

These can all be corrected and resubmitted next week.  Until then, have a great week, and be on the lookout for opportunities to promote your fellow members.  Remember our goals of bringing one referral each week and two guests each month.

Please remember to fill out a bank auto pay form and submit it to your bank. It should be made out for HK$600 to “BNI Attraction chapter”, HSBC account number 400 374724 001, payable on the first of each month. Very important : In the reference field please put your own name, so that we can reconcile who has paid.

If you prefer to continue paying by cheque, please bring one for HK$625 to “BNI Attraction Chapter” to the next meeting. As a further simplification we are going to make it the same price each month, and $625 balances out to the correct amount.
